Tom Cruise's much-awaited Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part Two, which was originally scheduled to be released in 2024, has been pushed by one year. The 8th film in the action thriller spy franchise will now hit the big screens on May 23, 2025. The reason behind the delay is the production shutdown caused by the ongoing strikes, which began in mid-July, as per a report by The Hollywood Reporter. However, this production strike might push the release date of MI:8 more, if the issue is not resolved in the coming few months. The upcoming installment of the Mission: Impossible series is being shot Imax camera.
