"Mission: Impossible 7", which is being helmed by filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie, was slated to release on July 23, 2021. The release has been impacted due to the pandemic. Now, it will open on November 19, 2021.
"We were days from shooting in Venice, we were right at the epicentre when it all kicked off, so we had to shut down in Venice where we were four or five days from shooting.We hope to visit all the countries we planned to and look to do a big chunk of it back in the UK on the backlot and in the studio, so September through to end April/May is our targets. We are convinced we can do this", the director said.
NASA Administrator James Bridenstine says the space agency hopes to inspire the next generation with Tom Cruise's upcoming movie, which will be the first Hollywood project to be shot aboard the International Space Station.
Being described as an action adventure, the film will be shot aboard a real SpaceX vessel. The report stated that the project is in its "early stage". The film currently has no distributor and exact plot details are unknown.
