Lalit Modi names three cricketers who were bribed
Controversial former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi has alleged that two leading Indian cricketers and a West Indian player had been bribed by an Indian real estate tycoon, who is also a bookmaker.London-based Modi tweeted a letter he claims to have written to International Cricket Council (ICC) CEO Dave Richardson in June 2013, passing on “some information that I have just got.”
Leaving New Zealand not due to allegations: Indian envoy
India's high commissioner to New Zealand Ravi Thapar on Saturday said he was leaving the country not because of assault allegations against his wife but because he wanted to take care of his mother living in India.
Thapar's wife has been accused of physically assaulting a domestic help at their residence. He has denied the allegations and said his wife was an "experienced diplomatic spouse" incapable of assaulting an "able-bodied man".
Net neutrality report to be out soon: Ravi Shankar Prasad
Telecom minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has said that the government will soon come out with its report on the controversial issue of net neutrality, and the telecom department is waiting for the report from sectoral regulator Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai).
"Report of net neutrality will be out very soon but we are waiting for Trai report on the issue," telecom minister Ravi Shankar Prasad told reporters.

Congress today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should step down if he was finding himself “helpless” in securing resignations of four women Ministers who are under attack for alleged wrongdoing.
“If the Prime Minister is helpless in securing the resignations, he should tell people about his failure to ensure zero tolerance to corruption and offer his resignation,” party spokesman Raj Babbar told reporters.
Delhi government moves HC to restrain M K Meena from entering ACB office
Intensifying its battle against the Lt Governor and the Centre, Delhi Government today urged the High Court here to issue directions to restrain LG- appointee ACB chief M K Meena from entering his office and "interfering" with the functioning of the anti-graft body.
The Aam Aadmi Party government filed a fresh application in the ongoing litigation challenging the Centre's notification giving Lt Governor Najeeb Jung absolute powers to appoint bureaucrats in the capital, after AAP government- nominated Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) chief S S Yadav accused Meena of threatening and pressuring him.
