Lucknow: The two persons taken into custody by police at Narendra Modi's rally venue in Gorakhpur today were villagers in their 50s who had come with small knives wrapped in paper in their pockets for cutting "khaini" (chewing tobacco).


Police said, they have been identified as Tilakdhari, son/of Balkaran, and Munni Lal.

Police officials said, they would release the two very soon.
