New Delhi: A Delhi builder was reeling in shock when Rs 38 lakh went missing from his house on Tuesday, two day hence; his 14 year old daughter went missing along with  three of her friends .  

The desperate father ran post to pillar to find his daughter fearing abduction. Police flung into action formed special team to trace them.

But the builder got the shock of the life when he found that that it was her own daughter who hatched the robbery and went on a shopping spree along with three of her friends.

14- year old Nithya, who was bored of her mundane school life, drew inspiration from upcoming remake of Ocean's Eleven where an all-woman cast led by Sandra bullock and swindled her own father.

According to the police, the girl wanted a break from the monotony of school and studies at home.

The girl knew her father had received Rs 38 lakh in a land deal and the money was locked up in a safe in his room.

She broke into parent's room when they were out for dinner and unlocked the safe.  The girl stashed all the cash with the help of one of her friend and went for shopping on Thursday without informing their parents.

When DCP (southeast) Mandeep Randhawa formed a special team along with ACP Anil Yadav they began scanning the mobile phones, photographs that was obtained from the respective parents.

The girls were found by a Delhi Police team in Dehradun. They took the girls into custody and recovered around Rs 37 lakh that they still had.

The taxi ride cost them Rs 11,000. The accused also booked a suite at a luxury hotel for Rs 10,000. Then followed their shopping mission where they spend Rs 80,000 lavishly on shoes, bags and dresses.
