A massive fire broke out on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday at a mall in Mumbai’s Bhandup area, which also accommodates a COVID-19 hospital on its top floor. The fire has engulfed 10 people so far. As many as 76 COVID-19 patients were admitted to the hospital, which is located on the third floor of a mall.

The fire broke out at the Dreams Mall Sunrise Hospital in Bhandup area shortly after midnight. The hospital is situated on the third floor of the five-storeyed mall building and many patients including those being treated for COVID-19 were at the hospital when the fire broke out.

A fire was reported at Mumbai's Borivali West early on Saturday. Nearly 14 fire tenders are present at the spot as the efforts to douse the flames continue.
