CUET-UG phase 4: The fourth phase of the Central Universities Entrance Test-Undergraduate was scheduled from August 17-20 and a total of 3.72 lakh candidates were set to appear.
CUET-UG 2022: The NTA had cancelled the CUET-UG at 53 centres and sent messages to candidates about its postponement on Friday night.

CUET-UG: The National Testing Agency (NTA), however, said the first shift of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-Undergraduate exam was carried out smoothly at 95 per cent of the centres across the country.
CUET postponed: Kerala has been receiving heavy rains since the onset of the monsoon season, which has led to flooding in several areas. NTA said the situation is not conducive to conducting exams.

CUET UG 2022: The Common University Entrance Test will be conducted from July 15 to August 10, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced last week. Over 11 lakh candidates have registered for the first edition of CUET.
The CUET-qualified candidates will be able to register for admission to undergraduate courses in central universities across the country.
The exam for CUET-PG will be conducted in the third week of July. The application process began on Friday and will conclude on June 18.
In a statement, the UGC said, "We hope that this will provide additional opportunity to the students to apply for CUET."
The Union minister contended that as against the summative assessment which encourages the coaching culture, the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasises formative assessment.
Haneet Gandhi, Dean (admissions), said candidates will be able to appear for the CUET only in those subjects which they have studied in class 12. The merit will also be calculated on the basis of the combination of only those subjects in which the candidate has appeared in the CUET, she added.
Defending the Common Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET), Yogesh Singh said, "the cut-off system did not offer equal opportunities to all students but the CUET will judge them on equal parameters and will not be disadvantageous for those who studied under from boards that are not lenient in awarding marks."
CUET scores have been made mandatory for admission to undergraduate courses at 45 central varsities from the 2022-23 academic session.
The UGC chairman had last week announced that CUET scores, and not Class XII scores, will be mandatory for admission to 45 central universities and the central universities can fix their minimum eligibility criteria.
CUET will provide a single window opportunity to students to seek admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) across the country.
UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar had on Monday had said the central universities will have to use Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores to admit students to undergraduate programmes and not the Class 12 marks.
