JioNews service launched in India, offers live TV, latest news and more in 12+ regional languages

Followed with the growth in digital penetration and internet, consumption of the news, videos and live TV has been picking pace in India, with which Jio has gone and launched a new digital product called JioNews in India. It offers the latest news to users in the form of web service and application.

JioNews offers services like the latest breaking news, videos, live TV and newspaper all at one place. The launch comes at a time when of Lok Sabha and Assembly Elections 2019 have begun, followed with IPL 2019 underway and Cricket World Cup 2019 to come.

Users will be able to choose their content preference for language and will offer content from more than 250+ Newspapers, 800+ Magazines, 150+ Live News channels, news websites and other Famous Blogs from India and across the world. It will also have a homepage personalization that will allow users to choose their area of interest. Even more, the service will offer the latest trending videos across all platforms that include technology, sports, automotive, fashion, Bollywood and health.

JioNews will be a combined offering of JioMags, JioXpressNews and JioNewsPaper, along with an additional offering of Live TV and videos. Users of these apps will all be migrated to JioNews.
