Shamita Shetty gets trolled for rudely behaving with a fan, actress clarifies
Shamita Shetty, who is winning hearts with her daring avatar in adventure-based reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi these days, has broken the internet with her video in which the actress is seen behaving in a rude manner with a fan. The moment this video popped on the internet, netizens started trolling the actress for her behavior for her impertinence and irritated expressions.
Users all over the internet started calling out the actress after the video went viral and called her with names like ‘obnoxious’ and ‘arrogant’. In the video, a fan is seen trying to click a selfie with the Zeher actress and she gets irritated. Shamita even tries to walk out to her car as soon as she is done with the fan but was caught among other fans. Watch the video here-
While netizens are not mincing their words before calling the actress rude, a source close to her came out in defense of her and revealed that Shamita was not rude but suffering from slip-disc which is why she wanted to go away from the crowd. The source was quoted saying, “Shamita is suffering from slip disc in her neck and was in excruciating pain when one of her fans approached her to click a photograph with her. In spite of being unwell, the actress happily obliged to her fan's request but it came across as a little rude and was purely unintentional. Shamita loves her fans and respects their love and admiration and have always been very polite with them.”
Shamita also took to her social media and wrote, "Feel sad today ...
...Nobody really understands the state of mind of an artist .i was rushing out of the place with an emergency to attend too, with a slip disc in my neck .. I don’t wanto get into details of that but I still complied with a photo to my fans waiting there but it was taking so long that I was getting impatient...I can’t walk around with a board that I’m under medical treatment for a very painful neck slip disc but try to keep a smile on my face & did take pic n helped her take the pic as she was struggling with the right lighting .Im aware as celebrities we are constantly judged especially in the world of social media where it’s very easy for people to say things ..I take it in my stride but there s no need to hit below the belt..it’s because I cared that I still took those photo s . I love my fans n respect the love and admiration they give me and that will always be a constant in my life !! In the normal case I wouldn’t want to clarify but felt the need to this time . I’m falliable as I’m a human being and do hurt. We all have bad days.. maybe that was mine.. That doesn’t make us bad people. Sending you all positivity , love and light ."
Well, that shuts many mouths! Shamita Shetty has been away from Bollywood for a long time but is seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi in which she entered as a wild card. She was also seen in a web series called Yo Ke Hua Bro for Colors' digital platform alongside Gaurav Pandey, Aparshakti Khurana and Ridhima Pandit. Currently, the actress is doing South Indian movies.
