Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat is doing wonderful business at the box office. The film featuring actors Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh has crossed Rs 150 mark at the box office and is storming towards 200 cr figure. In fact, the film is set to become Bhansali’s biggest grosser ever. Padmaavat earned Rs 166.50 cr in its opening weekend. The overall domestic collection of the film now stands at Rs 176.50 crore.

SLB’s last release Bajirao Mastani did the business of Rs 184.16 crore net at the domestic box office. Thus, Padmaavat just need Rs 8 crore to break the record of Bajirao Mastani. Trade analysts have predicted that the collection of Padmaavat is expected to grow in coming days.

Taran Adarsh tweeted the latest figures of Padmaavat. He tweeted, “#Padmaavat begins Week 2 with a BANG... Collects in double digits... Eyes ₹ 35 cr+ in Weekend 2... Will cross *lifetime biz* of #BajiraoMastani today [Sat]… Will cross ₹ 200 cr tomorrow [Sun]... [Week 2] Fri 10 cr. Total: ₹ 176.50 cr. India biz.”

The movie is receiving praises and the star cast is getting positive response for the spectacular performances. Padmaavat marked the third-time collaboration of Ranveer-Deepika-Sanjay Leela Bhansali after Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani.
