Salman Khan’s home production banner Salman Khan Films will co-produce the film along with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Earlier there were rumours that global icon Priyanka Chopra has been roped in to star alongside Salman Khan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah.
While it’s a first for Alia Bhatt to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan, the duo has worked together in many films including Khamoshi and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. They are reuniting after 20 years in a film. Last they worked together in Aishwarya Rai starrer Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, which is touted to be on of the most iconic films ever made in Indian cinema.
Further details about the project are awaited. On a related note, Alia Bhatt will be next seen in a period movie Kalank with Varun Dhawan and other Bollywood actors. The film is slated to release on April 17.
