Sony has released a teaser on its social media pages today hinting that the Xperia XA Ultra is all set for an India launch on July 25. The price and availability details are expected to be announced during the launch event.
The company has posted the teaser on Twitter, which reads “Your perfect Selfie companion, with OIS. This Monday.” The teaser also hints that the smartphone will come with 16-megapixel front camera of the Xperia XA Ultra that also supports OIS.
Sony Xperia XA Ultra will come in two color variants - white and Graphite Black. Also the company is likely to offer a flip cover, back cover and a transparent back case along with the smartphone.
The Sony Xperia XA Ultra features a 6-inch full HD curved display. The smartphone runs on MediaTek MT6755 64-bit octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It offers a 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 200GB via a microSD card. It is powered by a 2,700mAh battery.
The smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel front camera that features wide angle lens, Sony Exmor R sensor, front flash and OIS. Also it is one of the few smartphones to have a front facing camera with OIS support for image stabalization.
The Sony Xperia XA Ultra comes 21-megapixels rear camera and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In terms of connectivity it has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Miracast, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and dual-SIM support among others.
