On Sunday evening two fire incidents were reported - one in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag and another in Jharkhand's capital Ranchi. No casualties were reported in either incident.
The sudden fire incident created chaos on the busy road near the Patna railway station. However, the fire brigade officials and the local police officials timely rushed to the spot and began the fire-dousing operation.
The visuals from the site show that the blaze has spread wide and the entire locality is engulfed by the black smoke. Some residential buildings can be seen near the fire in the video.
According to witnesses, the fire incident at the hospital caused chaos but the police controlled the situation and fire brigade officials extinguished the flame.
The fire brigade official said the blaze was controlled and there was no loss of life. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, he added.
BJP MLA from Gandhi Nagar, Anil Bajpai, voiced his concern over the lack of a fire station in the area. I met the Lieutenant Governor in pursuance of this matter and the file is in process, he added.
According to the railway authorities, the fire brigade officials rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. No one has been injured in the fire incident, they said.
