Mumbai: A biscuit manufacturing factory owned by Shangrila Food Products caught major fire on Thursday night and was gutted in the blaze.  

 
Goods worth Rs 50 lakhs was destroyed in this massive fire. After the factory caught fire, 700 workers working inside immediately vacated the place to save their lies.
 
The workers have now been rendered jobless.
 
The blaze was so huge that it took 12 fire tenders at least 5 hours to control.
 
This company used to manufacture biscuits for various brands.

The reasons behind the fire are not known.
