A total of 672 candidates are in the fray across 70 constituencies. There are approximately 14.7 million registered voters including 8.1 mn male, 6.6 mn female and 869 third gender voters.
Till 2 pm, 27% voter turnout has been recorded in the Delhi assembly polls 2020. Polling will continue to 6 pm in all 70 constituencies.
Women voters queue up in Shaheen Bagh to cast their vote. The area has been a centre stage for anti-CAA protests in the national capital.
As polling is underway in Delhi, 19.37% voter turnout has been recorded till 1 pm.
