As the launch of the iPhone 16 series comes near, more and more speculations and guesses have been surfacing, talking about the upcoming device and expected features. As per the recent leak, it is said to upcoming devices from Apple will have significantly very thinner bezels on both the variants- the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. With this, the company promises to enhance the user experience, while watching videos.
Thinnest bezels on iPhone 16
As per the recent report from Weibo, the Chinese microblogging platform, the bezels of the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will come with reduced bezel size. It will be up to 40 per cent less, when compared to their predecessors (iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max).
The reduction of the bezel will result in a better screen-to-body ratio, which will provide a more immersive viewing experience to the users.
Screen size and bezel dimensions
The upcoming iPhone 16 Pro is expected to come with a 6.3-inch display, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to have a 6.9-inch display. The bezels are said to be exceptionally thin, and the iPhone 16 Pro will have a 1.2mm border. The iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 1.15mm border.
The news surfaced by a well-known leaker named Ice Universe- who suggested that the iPhone 16 Pro will have ultra-thin bezels. He further said that the bezels of the device will be thinner than that of Samsung Galaxy S24- which previously claims to have the thinnest bezels in its latest series, which was launched this year.
Launch: Expected
The iPhone 16 series is expected to be launched in September 2024 (just like very year's timeline), which will continue Apple's tradition. The series is expected to come with standard iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Besides the thin bezels, the handset will significantly come with AI upgrades and better display, camera, and hardware features. Furthermore, the series will be equipped with advanced AI features, which will have an enhanced appeal.
