Mexico City , Jun 28 : Tottenham forward Giovani Dos Santos will lead a young Mexico squad at the Copa America, with Javier Hernandez and other leading national team regulars not available for selection.
Mexico, which won the CONCACAF Gold Cup on Saturday, is required by CONCACAF to send its second team to Argentina because it is not a member of the South American continental federation.
Dos Santos scored one of the goals in Mexico's 4-2 victory over the United States at California in the Gold Cup final, the deciding match in the continental championship for the North and Central American, and Caribbean confederation.
