The shooting for the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty will be happening in Cape Town. Rubina Dilaik, Chetna Pande and Rajiv Adatia are among the confirmed contestants of the show.

Rakesh Maria was responsible for investigating the 26/11 Mumbai attacks in 2008 and interrogated Ajmal Kasab, the only terrorist captured alive. Rohit Shetty shared that he feels blessed to announce the biopic.

Rohit Shetty has joined hands with Sidharth Malhotra for his next cop project. 

On Monday (March 21), Ajay Devgn has unveiled the trailer of his yet another directorial, Runway 34. Ajay also plays the role of a pilot who is being investigated for a dangerous landing. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh. During the trailer launch of the film filmmaker Rohit Shetty praised Ajay for his sound knowledge of the technicalities of filmmaking.

Last year, Rohit Shetty had confirmed that the web series based on cops was in development. He will be a showrunner on it. Reportedly, Sidharth Malhotra will begin shooting on this much-anticipated project in Mumbai very soon.

Well, now it seems that all of it was just a rumour as the actress in her recent interview says. The tentative participant list of the season now includes names of celebs like-- Umar Riaz, Pratik Sehajpal Prince Narula, Rajiv Adatia, Dipika Kakar and Simba Nagpal.

Rohit Shetty will step into the shoes of a Special Operations Group soldier and experience how the unit lives and trains in the difficult places they are posted at. The show has been shot at locations in and around Srinagar.

Ranveer Singh has confirmed that filmmaker Rohit Shetty intended Simmba to be a franchise. He further said he will be returning to play the cop character "if God is willing". The actor-director duo has also teamed up for upcoming film Cirkus.

Jacqueline Fernandez is currently shooting for Rohit Shetty's film, Cirkus amidst the ongoing Sukesh Chandrasekhar's controversy in a money laundering case. The film, which is said to be an adaptation of the Shakespearean play 'The Comedy of Errors', also stars Pooja Hegde, Ranveer Singh, Varun Sharma, Johny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, among others.

Shetty, who will be directing and producing 'Cirkus', has collaborated with Bhushan Kumar for the first time for the flick which will see Ranveer Singh opting for a double role for the first time.

"Cirkus" will be Rohit Shetty's third collaboration with Ranveer Singh after 'Simmba' and 'Sooryavanshi', in which he featured in an extended cameo. The film is based on William Shakespeare's classic play 'The Comedy of Errors', which revolves around two sets of identical twins who were accidentally separated at birth.

"Not Sidharth Malhotra, the actor is not yet finalised. We are planning a web series, it is a cop-based show but nothing is finalised. We have written one draft. But in between everything changed - theatres started opening, we had to stop all our work and concentrate solely on 'Sooryavanshi," Rohit Shetty said.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer "Sooryavanshi" is credited as the film which has revived the exhibition sector for Hindi cinema after the industry was severely hit due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Sooryavanshi: Starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, the film which opened in cinemas a day after Diwali, has crossed the Rs 150 crore mark in just ten days. Film critic and movie trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on his Twitter on Monday. 

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty said Singham 3 is a long way ahead as he is already occupied with his upcoming Ranveer Singh-starrer comedy "Cirkus" and Devgn also has a slate of pending films. The first installment of Singham, featuring Devgn as the titular righteous cop, released in 2011 to a thundering response. Its sequel Singham Returns (2014) was also a blockbuster.

The Akshay Kumar-fronted film opened to thunderous response in theatres on November 5, following multiple delays due to the coronavirus pandemic. The director Rohit Shetty urged the audience to shower their love on all the films that will be released in theatres in the coming days.
