Microsoft founder Bill Gates met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Friday.
Gates, who is visiting the city to review work initiated by Milinda Gates foundation in state, is likely to announce new initiatives to benefit people of the state.
According to reports, Bill Gates will also be invited for UP Global Investors Summit to be held in February.
On Thursday, Bill Gates met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discussed with him various welfare initiatives of the American philanthropies in India.
The Home Minister even requested him to initiate health awareness programmes in India and suggested that his foundation should also concentrate on developing model villages.
