Alia Bhatt along with her Kalank co-stars Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha recently appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show. The actors were there to promote their upcoming movie Kalank. However, according to a report of TOI, some of Kiku Sharda's jokes didn't go down well with Alia. As a result, she got upset with the comedian.
As per the report, Kiku asked her 'How does a scooter start?’ and said “Bhatt, Bhatt, Bhatt, Bhatt…” Cracking another joke, he said, ''Is Mahesh Bhatt into construction business” to which Alia answered, “No”. Then, Kiku said, “Then why did he make movies like Footpath and Sadak.”
While the report says that Alia found some of the jokes unpleasant, Kiku Sharda doesn't agree with it. In an interview with Pinkvilla, the comedian said that Alia was a big sport on the show and she completely enjoyed it. ''This is just a rumour. She has enjoyed a lot on the show. I have no idea how this rumour started, but if you watch the episode, you will see how much she has enjoyed on the show. Alia is a very sporting person and has laughed a lot on the show,'' he said.
On a related note, besides Kalank, Alia will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, Karan Johar's Takht, SS Rajamouli's RRR and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah.
