Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khuranna, who wowed us all with his performance in films such as Bareilly Ki Barfi and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, will be seen next in a special role in Vidya Balan’s film Tumhari Sulu. The secret was revealed by Neha Dhupia, who also has a lead role in the film. The actress posted a picture from Tumhari Sulu sets revealing that Ayushmann Khurrana has a cameo in this Suresh Triveni directorial movie. Taking to her Twitter account, Neha shared a picture of Ayushmann and Vidya and wrote, “The best kept secret of #tumharisulu … an absolutely delightful cameo by @ayushmannk.
Ayushmann Khuranna, who reportedly plays himself in the film also took to social media and said, “It was my pleasure to share screen space with Vidya Balan ma’am. She’s such a star performer. And you’re a superstar my dear sire”.
Tumhari Sulu, directed by ad filmmaker Suresh Triveni, is described as a slice-of-life comedy-drama. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar and Shanti Sivaram, the film also stars Manav Kaul, Neha Dhupia and RJ Malishka in supporting roles.
Vidya Balan is excited about the movie, and at a recent event, she said: "Sulu is someone who doesn't care about what others think and I love that about her. Not in a selfish way, of course, but she only cares about what she wants."
