New Delhi: Spice has launched two new Android KitKat smartphones called the Stellar 520 and the Stellar 526, at Rs 8,999 and Rs 11,499 respectively. The devices are available on retail stores and on Saholic.
The Spice Stellar 520 smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM-GSM) smartpohone offering 3G support on both the SIMs. The device features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a 720x1280 pixel resolution and is powered by a quad-core processor (unspecified chipset) clocked at 1.3GHz along with 1GB of RAM. It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera, while there is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It offers internal storage of 4GB, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The Spice Stellar 520 supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE and 3G connectivity options. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery with no word on talk time and standby time.
The Spice Stellar 526 is the company's first device to be powered by a hexa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM. The device comes with a 5-inch HD 720p display, 8-megapixel rear camera, 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB internal storage, microSD card slot, and a 2,500mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The handset measures 143.6x71.7x8.3mm and weighs 162 grams.
