Lahore, Pakistan (AP):   Sikandar Raza hit a century and Chamu Chibhabha missed out on his maiden ODI hundred by just one run as Zimbabwe scored 268-7 in the second one-day international against Pakistan on Friday.

Raza remained unbeaten on 100 off 84 balls with eight fours and three sixes while Chibhabha was caught down the leg side off Shoaib Malik's offspin.

Chibhabha, replacing suspended captain Elton Chigumbura, dominated the first wicket stand of 83 with Vusi Sibanda (13) before Raza's late surge lifted Zimbabwe's total.

Legspinner Yasir Shah took 2-40 while fast bowler Wahab Riaz also chipped in with 2-55.

Zimbabwe trails the three-match series 1-0 after losing a high-scoring first match by 41 runs on Tuesday.

Pakistan bowlers struggled for the breakthrough after captain Azhar Ali won the toss but surprisingly decided to bowl in temperatures of 41 degrees Celsius (105 Fahrenheit).

After Pakistan's fast bowlers toiled in the hot weather, offspinner Mohammad Hafeez brought the first success in the 19th over when he clean bowled Sibanda.

Yasir struck in successive overs when stand-in captain Hamilton Masakadza looped the ball to a diving Hafeez at first slip off a mistimed reverse sweep and Sean Williams offered a tame return catch to the legspinner.

Chibhabha hit 11 fours and a six but walked back in apparent disbelief after he was adjudged caught behind.

Raza cut loose after Chibhabha's dimissal and hit fast bowler Mohammad Sami for two fours and a six in one over as Zimbabwe scored 81 runs in the last 10 overs.
Raza brought up his century in the last over with a single off Anwar Ali.

In four changes for Zimbabwe, Chibhabha replaced Chigumbura while Charles Coventry came in for Craig Ervine, who has injured his hamstring. Prosper Utseya, who is ill, made way for Tawanda Mupariwa and Graeme Cremer replaced dropped fast bowler Christopher Mpofu.

Zimbabwe, which lost the Twenty20 series 2-0, is the first international team to tour Pakistan since 2009 when gunmen attacked Sri Lanka's team bus in Lahore.
