After winning the 2nd Test match against Sri Lanka by an innings and 53 runs, India won the Test series against a struggling Sri Lanka to attain an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Indian skipper Virat Kohli came across a 7-foot-tall WWE Superstar 'The Great Khali' in New Delhi. The skipper flew back home to celebrate Raksha-Bandhan with his family.

The Great Khali has re-joined WWE after his contract expired in 2014. The 7-foot-tall giant made a return to WWE's Battleground to help his fellow country mate Jinder Mahal retain the WWE World Heavyweight Champion against Randy Orton. The Indian WWE fans will see Khali in the ring again soon as the giant has been with the WWE since 2006.

After a three year dry spell, Khali returned back home in India to participate in a local wrestling tournament which lasted for only a few months.

With India securing the Test series, there is still the ODI series and a one-off T20 match to be played with the southern neighbours. India will hope to retain the form that they are in as Sri Lanka is still vulnerable in all formats. The only comeback Sri Lanka ever made was against Zimbabwe in a one-off Test match. The Lankans unexpectedly lost the 5-match ODI series 3-2 to the African country.

With India winning the Test series with a match in hand to play, the men in blue's main focus will now lie on the 5-match ODI series.

After winning the two Test matches, India will look to make it a clean sweep in the series and do so in the One-Day matches with the state that Sri Lanka are currently in.

Cheteshwar Pujara was lauded as the best Test batsmen in India by skipper Kohli. Ravinder Jadeja will sit out the 3rd Test match after the ICC slapped the all-rounder with a one-match ban and a fine for dangerous play.

India will next play Sri Lanka in the 3rd Test match of the series on August 12 in Pallekelle, Sri Lanka.
