New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will on September 27 announce the formation of its youth wing. It will be named Aam Aadmi Party Youth Wing, the party said in a statement.
The announcement will also mark the 107th birth anniversary of revolutionary martyr Bhagat Singh.
“The aim is to spread message of clean politics among youth across the country,” it said.
“The wing will also focus on unemployment, women safety and other key issues concerning the youth and students of the country,” it added.
The statement also stated that the membership drive to enroll youth below 35 years of age will be launched from Delhi where its unit will be headed by Jarnail Singh, MLA from Tilak Nagar.
Karol Bagh MLA Vishesh Ravi will be its convenor.
