Furious B.Ed graduates ransack Firozabad women's college in UP

Firozabad, UP, April 7 : Furious female B. Ed. graduates on Saturday ransacked the Dau Dayal Women's College here after they found that the management have vanished after promising to repay their Rs one lakh fees each for their fake degrees.




The college had given them B.Ed. degrees this year, but it was found that the Agra University had not given any recognition to this college. The girls had demanded that their fees of Rs 1 lakh be returned, after which the management had promised to return the money on Saturday.

The girls found that there were no college official on Saturday. They went on a ransacking spree, breaking up furnitures, ceiling fans and airconditioners, while policemen stood by silently.

Police has registered a case under Section 420 IPC (cheating) against the founder of the college Surendra Kumar Agrawal and principal Catherine Sheila.

Both were not available for comment.
