Noida, Jan 25: The DND Flyway toll concessionaire was today booked after a commuter accused it of not arranging passage for his vehicle caught in a jam when he was taking his brother, who had suffered a heart attack, to Delhi.
An FIR was lodged at the Sector-20 police station here against Noida Toll Bridge Company Limited (NTBCL), the company that manages the Flyway, under relevant sections of the IPC, police said.
The complainant Rakesh Jain, a resident of Noida, alleged he was taking his brother, who had suffered a heart attack, to AIIMS when he got stuck in jam, police said.
Jain accused the toll plaza staff of misbehaving with him and not allowing passage to take his brother to hospital.
The company, however, has denied the allegations, claiming that there was no misconduct on part of its employees.
A company spokesperson said NTBCL will cooperate with the police and CCTV footages at the toll plaza will bring out the truth.
