New Delhi: Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut have featured on the cover of Vogue India for its October issue.

This edition celebrates magazine's seventh anniversary. To commemorate its seventh anniversary this October, Vogue India is launching Vogue Empower, a social awareness initiative that draws attention to women's empowerment.

As going by the cover, the celebs are dressed up in the theme colour red, white and black.

While Deepika Padukone is dressed up in all red Prabal Gurung gown, Kangana stood out in black Alexander Mcqueen Fall 2014 embroidered gown with feather detailing. Raveer Singh has spilled the magic in his own style.

The all three men on the cover looked suave in their respective style. Noted director Karan Johar chose a velvet blazer, Aamir flaunted his minimal style in black half blazer.

Nation's heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor looked magnetic in his black suit and subtle look. He looked as charming as could ever look. The clam expressions on his face make the picture million times better.

With Vogue Empower, Vogue India's endeavour is to raise awareness through the magazine, social media, digital, multi-media platforms and offline activities.

Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, A R Rahman are other few celebrities who have bagged the prestigious corner in this special issue. Also present on the cover are Barkha Dutt, Sudha Murty, Nishka Lulla, Tanya Dubash and Yuvraj Singh.

For inside pictures, Alia Bhatt is seen in Zac Posen gown flaunting her svelte body, journalist Barkha Dutt chose a Sabyasachi creation.

Renowned designers such as Anita Dongre, Gaurav Gupta, JJ Valaya, Manish Arora, Manish Malhotra, Monisha Jaising, Raghavendra Rathore, Ritu Kumar, Rohit Bal, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Suneet Varma, Tarun Tahiliani and many others have each pledged a garment from their collections; proceeds from their sales will go to charity.

Over 180 pledges have been made by marquee names across industries. Actor Aamir Khan will help spread the word through the media with a radio campaign, music maestro A.R. Rahman will dedicate an album to Vogue Empower and has composed a soulful track, Laadli that echoes the significance of the cause of women's empowerment.

The message of #VogueEmpowerment is simple: It starts with you.
