New Delhi: In a shocking revelation, the Meerut incident victim while recording her statement before a magistrate said that her fallopian tubes were removed in a surgery at a local hospital to prevent pregnancy.

The 20-year-old girl has alleged that she was abducted, held captive in a madrassa and then gangraped and had been forcibly converted to Islam.

According to the victim, she had been kept along with close to a dozen others 'like her'.

Swinging into action, the local police has arrested five accused after an FIR was filed by the victim.

Meanwhile, there are various theories floating around in the restive city.

One conjecture being made is that this is a case of human trafficking where the girls' reproductive organs were surgically removed before forcing them into prostitution in a clutch of Arab countries.

Earlier in the day, BJP MP from Meerut Rajinder Aggarwal raised the issue in Parliament and demanded a CBI probe into the incident.

This came even as Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav assured strict action will be taken against the culprits.
