Bhopal: The CBI arrested Railway Protection Force's (RPF) Vidisha Railway Station outpost in-charge while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 from a milk parlour vendor today.
Acting on the complaint of the vendor of government run- dairy federation ‘Sanchi', Satya Pal Singh, the CBI laid a trap and caught the officer when he took Rs 5,000 as bribe, a CBI release said.
Besides the arrest, CBI also carried out searches at the RPF official's office and residential premises and seized few incriminating documents from his possession.
The accused had demanded Rs 5,000 bribe from the vendor to favour him to run his business in a hassle free manner, it added.
