Noida, Sep 22: Dr B S Srivastava, a retired CMO of Railways, was inside his clinic-cum-residence in Sector 26 here on Friday, when two assailants posing as patients came and fired shots at him.

Dr Srivastava was rushed to Kailash Hospital, where his condition continues to be critical, as the bullets are yet to be extracted, said Dr Mahesh Sharma, chairman-cum-managing director.  

Dr Srivastava's wife was the lone witness to this attack. Both the assailants fled after firing the shots.
