New Delhi:  A 15 yr old girl, who bravely resisted six men who tried to rape her and later set her ablaze, succumbed to her burn injuries In Uttar Pradesh.

The girl was assaulted by six men of her village on November 17, when she was alone in her house in Shahjahanpur.

The girl when resisted and fought back, the accused poured kerosene on her and set her on fire.

The girl was immediately taken to Shahjahanpur Medical College after which she was taken to Bareilly Medical College two days later, and was later rushed to Rohilkhand Medical College in Bareilly, where she succumbed to her injuries today.

While the police was already investigating the case, all the accused will now be booked under murder charges.

So far, four of the accused have been arrested, however, the police is still looking for the other two culprits.
