In a tragic incident, a teenage boy lost his life while two others were injured in a collision involving a car and a motorcycle in Noida. According to the police, the incident occurred around 8 a.m. in Chhapraula village, Sector 168, under the jurisdiction of the Expressway Police Station.

The police said the deceased, identified as Aman Kumar, aged around 15, hails from Sector 135. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident, while the two other students were rushed to the hospital and are currently undergoing treatment.

Elaborating on the details of the incident, a police spokesperson said the driver of the car, identified as Pramod Sharma from Mangrauli, was en route to a private hospital in Sector-27, where his wife had been admitted for the past two days when the accident occurred. The police spokesperson clarified that there was no evidence of deliberate wrongdoing, asserting that Sharma is an employee at a private motor company.

However, the family of the deceased has alleged foul play, claiming that the motorcycle was struck multiple times. Additional DCP (Noida) Manish Mishra said an investigation into the tragic death has been initiated, with authorities examining CCTV footage of the incident. While the family's claims have not been substantiated by the footage, police said they are probing the matter.

Meanwhile, the driver of the car has been apprehended by the police, and his Maruti Swift car has been impounded as part of the investigation. Further, the death of the teenager was also followed by a protest by his family members, schoolmates, and some locals, who kept the body on the road and raised slogans, demanding police action against the "culprits.".

The police said further legal proceedings in the case are underway, adding that the law and order situation was under control in the area.
