The Yamuna river continued to flow above the danger mark even after the release of over 600,000 cusecs of water that inundated at least 10 villages.
The visuals from the hospital show that the facility has been inundated under knee-deep water while the patients continue to be treated under unhygienic and hazardous conditions.
The Delhi government will be making public announcement on Monday to spread awareness among the people about the danger level mark.
The water level reached 205.30 metres at 7 pm on Saturday, prompting authorities here to evacuate people from low-lying areas, officials said.
"The water level in the Yamuna river has reached 5.25 lakh cusecs mark as of now and we are continuously monitoring the situation," said Yamunanagar Deputy Commissioner Girish Arora.
According to the Home Ministry's National Emergency Response Centre (NERC), 138 people have died in Maharashtra, 125 in Kerala, 116 in West Bengal, 52 in Gujarat and 34 in Assam due to the floods and rains.
Directives have been issued to extend prompt monetary assistance to those who have been severely affected by rains and also provide medical treatment to those who require it.
The government has alerted concerned authorities to make all preparations in view of the rising water level in Yamuna.
Uttar Pradesh faced the maximum impact of continuous downpour as the state has reported at least 27 deaths in rain-related incidents.
According to Traffic Police, many major areas remained disrupted due to massive water-logging, leading to traffic jams. Commuters were advised to avoid the areas where water-logging was frequent, so that traffic does not pile on more.
Heavy rains lashed the capital overnight, contributing to waterlogging and traffic snarls at various places in the city today.
