Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane turns 30 today (June 6) and the entire cricket fraternity has poured in their wishes for the swashbuckler. It has been an on and off season this year for Rahane, but since being appointed as IPL franchise Rajasthan Royal's new skipper, the 30-year old has been in the limelight ever since then.

Rahane led Rajasthan Royals to the 2018 Indian Premier League Playoffs after facing a number of hurdles this season. His leadership qualities were eventually taken into consideration as Rahane will lead India in the historic one-off Test match against Afghanistan.

Apart from the Afghanistan Test, Rahane could play a major role in the Test series for India in the tour of England as it is this man who scored a ton the last time he played on English soil. His inputs could help the Virat Kohli led Team India pull off a historic win in England.

On his birthday, leading the wishes for the 30-year old is none other than the Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar who took to Twitter to wish Rahane.

'Wishing a very happy birthday to one of the most hardworking, disciplined and sincere cricketers I have come across. May you have a wonderful year ahead. My best wishes to you always, @ajinkyarahane88,' wrote Tendulkar's caption.

Many other cricketers took to Twitter to wish 'Jinx' on his birthday. Take a look.
