Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan finally speaks up about daughter’s boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are easily the most popular couple in the showbiz these days. While fans are already crazy about their chemistry, the actors keep teasing us all the more with their latest pictures from Bulgaria where they were shooting for their upcoming film Brahmastra. Neetu Kapoor’s heartfelt comments on Alia Bhatt’s picture are enough proof that the Kapoor parents like their son’s girlfriend much and now Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan has also expressed her liking for Ranbir Kapoor.

Talking about Alia Bhatt, Soni Razdan said in interview with HT, “I have a very good relationship with my daughter. I don’t go by what rumours say; I talk to her directly. We have had discussions on what’s going on or not going on in her life.” This is no news that Alia Bhatt and her mother Soni Razdan share a friendly relationship with each other and Alia has often said that she can talk about anything with her mother.

Soni Razdan also said, “I don’t discuss these things with anybody. (Laughs) Of course, we know Ranbir very well.” She further added, “But Ranbir is a lovely, lovely boy.” Earlier even Rishi Kapoor talked at length about Ranbir and Alia’s relationship.

In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, the actor addressed the topic of Ranbir’s marriage and said, “It’s Ranbir’s life. Who he wants to get married to is his prerogative,” he said. “Neetu likes her, I like her, Ranbir likes her. Get it? I can’t be judgmental. After all, my uncles Shammiji (Shammi Kapoor) and Shashiji (Shashi Kapoor) and I chose our life partners. Ranbir is entitled to choose his.”

Alia and Ranbir have complete the shooting schedule of Brahmastra in Bulgaria and are now back in the bay. The first thing Alia did after coming back was catch up with her best friend Akansha Ranjan as it’s her birthday. Alia shared a picture of her friend and wrote ‘Back home to my soul’.
