Remember Imran-Kareena in ‘Ek Man Aur Ek Tu, Rani and Prithviraj in Aiyyaa,Farah Khan-Boman Irani in Shirin Farhad, SRK-Katrina in ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan'and Irrfan-Mahie Gill in 'Paan Singh Tomar? The year 2013 awaits a variety of stars that have pulled up their socks to lead opposite those with whom they have never shared the screens before. Some of the pairs look weird on screen. So, get ready to watch out these new onscreen odd jodis and tell us what's your take on the above pairs and who do you think would stand out with their chemistry? 1.Kangana Ranaut and Sunny Deol----Twentyfive-year-old Kangana will be seen romancing 56-year-old Sunny Deol in the movie 'I love New Year' for the first time. The movie is about two strangers who meet up somewhere, things go wrong and eventually the whole thing turns into something beautiful. 2.Amisha Patel and Neil Nitin Mukesh ----Much younger actor Neil will be seen opposite sexy Amisha in ‘Shortcut Romeo' this year. This movie is a remake of the Tamil movie Thiruttu Payale (2006) directed by same director. 3. Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor---- Young and rugged Arjun and cute and sexy Alia Bhatt are coming together in ‘2 States'. The movie is based on Chetan Bhagat's novel with the same name. 4. Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan -----The Dirty Story actor Vidya and the talented Farhan Akhtar are all set to play husband-wife in the upcoming movie ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects' . The movie is a sequel of 2006 film 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects' that had Rahul Bose and Mallika Sherawat in the leading roles. 5. Amir Khan &Katirna Kaif----- After working with Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif will now be witnessed with Mr. Perfectionist Amir Khan in the most awaited third instalment of action packed series ‘Dhoom'. The poster of the flick is out and has gained a positive response from all around. While Amir will play an antagonist, Kat will also have some action sequences in the flick. 6. Ranveer Singh-Priyanka Chopra-Arjun Kapoor---- The YRF's ‘Gunday' has two young players in the lead Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, while there were names of Anushka Sharma and Kartina Kaif doing the rounds, it was finally Priyanka Chopra who won the lead role opposite the two.So, wait for a ménage a trois on the silver screen. 7. Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone----- Admirers for the first time will witness the unusual pair of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's romantic drama “Ram Leela”. 8. Ajay Devgan- Tamannah----- Sajid Khan after his comedy hit Housefull series has turned into an action-masala Director for the remake of 1983 “Himmatwala” and has roped in Ajay Devgan and southern hotty Tamannah. Ah! Alongwith this new twosome, it will also be the debut for Tamannah in Hindi cinema. 9. Shahid Kapoor- Ileana D'Cruz------ Rajkumar Santoshi after the success of ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani', has come up with a new jodi of Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz. The southern actress has already proved her mettle with ‘Barfi!' and it would be exciting to watch the lady in a similar APKGK romantic-masala flick with Shahid. 10. Priyanka Chopra-Ram Charan Teja---- The remake of 1973 hit “Zanjeer” will feature Priyanka Chopra and Ran Charan Teja in the lead roles. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the flick will also have Sanjay Dutt reprising the role of Sher Khan in his own way.
