New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited public views on the ‘grave' issue related to drugs menace.

“I invite you to share your views on the issue of mitigating the menace of drugs. If you worked in this area, please share your experiences,” he said in a twitter post.

The Prime Minister in another tweet said that he will take up the issues related to drugs in the third round of his radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat'.

“During 'Mann Ki Baat' programme, I talked about many friends writing to me on menace of drugs. I said I will take it up in next programme,” he tweeted.

Yesterday, Modi while addressing the nation in his second ‘Mann Ki Baat' radio programme said, “"One person wrote to me about the drug menace in the country. Please share more information with me, I will discuss it in my next address of 'Mann Ki Baat'.”

He had also said that citizens who do not have access to internet and social media can write letters offering suggestions related to various issues.

“It's true that not everybody has access to Facebook and Twitter. Citizens who have suggestions related to 'Mann Ki Baat' and want to write to me can write letters at Mann Ki Baat, Akashwani, Sansad Marg, New Delhi. The letters will reach me. I will read that too," said Prime Minister Modi.

"All such letters will be considered seriously as they are proof people are concerned about issues related to the country," he had added.

Modi had made his first ‘Man Ki Baat' radio address to the nation on October 3.
