Washington: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today left for US where he is all set to receive a warm welcome by Indian Diaspora besides the Obama government.

But there are a few groups in US which are planning to register their protest to Modi visit in different ways.

A few groups are planning to hold black flag rallies while some others are planning to hold “Citizens' Court" to try Modi for his alleged role in the 2002 Gujarat riots.

Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) - a Sikh human rights group, plans to indict Modi through a  “Citizens' Court" when he would be holding his Sep 30 summit with President Barack Obama.

The indictment proceedings for "attacks on religious minorities in India" would be "conducted in a replica court room set up in the President's Park right in the front of the White House", and telecast live throughout the US, Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) has  announced.

Another group, Alliance for Justice and Accountability (AJA) has  announced that it would show Modi black flags.

Alliance for Justice and Accountability (AJA) has  also announced that it would show Modi black flags when he heads for the Indian-American community's public reception at the Madison Square Garden in mid-town Manhattan Sep 28.
