New Delhi: Actor Akshay Kumar has been one of the leading actors of Bollywood. The actor is at the peak of his career and 2016 has been going pretty well for him.
Akshay has given two movies so far this year, which not just minted crores at the box office but have also become the only two movies to enter the Rs 100 crore club in 2016.
Indeed, the year is proving quite lucky for ‘Khiladi’ Kumar. And looks like, he is in a mood to cash on his luck.
As per the recent reports, Akshay has charged a whooping amount of Rs 56 crore for his next movie with Divya Khosla.
“Divya and Akshay have discussed the project, and Akshay has agreed to be a part of it for a huge price—approximately Rs 56 crores. Divya seems to have agreed to the terms,” a source told a leading daily.
While the news has created a buzz in B-town, Divya seems to be quite surprised with the rumours.
When she was quizzed about her next movie and Akshay’s fees, she reportedly said, “This is news to me”. On the other hand her husband Bhushan Kumar too rubbished the reports, saying, “It’s a rumour, Divya is still writing the script.”
Currently, Akshay Kumar is busy with forthcoming movie ‘Rustom’. Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, the movie also stars Ileana D’Cruz and is slated to release on August 12.
