IMD department has issued an orange alert for July 26 and forecast a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds of the speed of 30-40 km/hr.
IMD on Friday issued two red alerts of heavy to very heavy rainfall for isolated places in eastern and western parts of Madya Pradesh.
IMD on Friday predicted heavy rainfall in twelve districts of Telangana.
Incidents of water-logging leaving people stranded were also reported from Mumbra, Bhiwandi, Titwala and Kasara areas of Thane district.
Navi Mumbai and Thane have been put on Orange alert, while Mumbai has been put on Yellow alert.
Six rain-related deaths were reported on Tuesday in Punjab and Maharashtra, where rivers have swollen due to intense rainfall.

The IMD said moderate to severe thunderstorms with lightning are very likely at isolated places over Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and east Rajasthan during the next 24 hours.
Incessant overnight rains threw parts of Mumbai out of gear on Sunday with the city witnessing severe waterlogging, disruption of local train services and vehicular traffic.
Delhi recorded a minimum of 26 degrees Celsius, a notch below normal. The maximum temperature is likely to settle around 34 degrees Celsius.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said red alert indicates that “extremely heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in ghat areas.”
The IMD had earlier predicted thunderstorms with light to moderate intensity rain over South-West Delhi, South Delhi and parts of NCR and adjoining areas.
