As coronavirus positive cases in India rise above 3,000, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged the country to light diyas/candles for at least 9 minutes at 9 pm today.  The COVID-19 has so far affected 1,202,236 people across the globe while the death toll at the time of writing this report stood at over 64,000. While the COVID-19 is straining the health care system across the globe, doctors and paramedics continue to fight the spread from the frontline.     "PPEs are imported so there was a shortage initially in the country but govt started taking action in this regard from January. Domestic manufacturers have started the production, we have also started procuring PPEs from the countries where it is available. Many orgs have started effort on their level to support us in enhancing supplies. We've dispatched available material to states in last 2 days. Production of adl material has started.     Coronavirus in Gujarat: 14 new COVID-19 cases reported; tally jumps to 122

    The number of coronavirus cases in Gujarat has jumped to 122 with 14 new patients being reported from the state, an official said on Sunday. Out of the 14 new cases, 10 have a direct or indirect link to the religious congregation organised by Tablighi Jamaat at Nizamuddin in Delhi last month, Principal Secretary (Health) Jayanti Ravi said.
    Of the total cases in the state, 72 are of local transmission, 33 patients have foreign travel history and 17 have inter-state travel history, she said. So far, 17 patients have been discharged after recovery, she said.
