Mumbai: In a shocking news coming from Mumbai's Oshiwara an NRI divorced his wife on Facebook. The victim, Muskan Siraji, had been married to Ali Hussain Siraji, a US national, for almost one and a half years. After the marriage Muskan opened an account on popular social networking site Facebook and posted her wedding photographs on it. Soon, as many as four women contacted her and claimed that Siraji promised marriage to them and took money from them as well. Nirali, one of the four girls, claimed the Ali has ditched her and posted some intimate photos and videos on the site. According to Muskan's they got married on May 26, 2012. It was an arranged marriage and Ali told her family that he was a doctor in the US. He returned to America after a month, and left Muskan with his father in Lokhandwala. Ali started misbehaving with Muskan and whenever she complained to Siraji, he consoled her by saying that he will take her to the US soon. For the last year or so, Siraji has been promising Muskan that he would take her to the US. And one day one day, his FB status message said 'divorced'. He even blocked Muskan's profile. Meanwhile, Oshiwara police have registered dowry harassment case under section 498 (a), section 406 (criminal breach of trust) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC.
