Luv Ranjan's romantic comedy Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is shining bright at the box-office. The film, starring Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh and Nushrat Bharucha in the lead roles, added Rs 4.93 crore more to its kitty on Tuesday. The total collection of the film, after a 5-day run, stands at an impressive Rs 36.67 crore. The film is expected to collect Rs 42 crore-Rs 44 crore by the end of its first-week run.
Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#SonuKeTituKiSweety continues to WIN HEARTS and RULE BO... SHINES BRIGHT on Tue too... Fri 6.42 cr, Sat 9.34 cr, Sun 10.81 cr, Mon 5.17 cr, Tue 4.93 cr. Total: ₹ 36.67 cr. India biz... #SKTKS”.
SKTS had made right kind of buzz as fans got to see Pyaar Ka Punchama actors back on the screen. Along with Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh in pivotal roles, the film also has our 'babuji' Alok Nath, showing his 'unsanskari' side. The movie has some feet-tapping numbers which have aroused much curiosity among fans.
Actress Nushrat Bharucha said that she feels lucky that filmmaker Luv Ranjan can tell so many different stories through her. Nushrat has worked with Ranjan in Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Akaash Vani, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and the newly released Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
In all the four films, Nushrat has portrayed characters that have been different from one another.
"I feel very lucky that Luv Ranjan feels that he can tell so many different stories through me since all my characters have been so different from one another. He sees me like that. I fit into his (Luv's) vision," Nushrat said in a statement.
