He would sometimes cuddle with his victims to make them feel safe and when the sun was coming up he would strangle them while looking into their eyes to see the life leaving them.

He had to see their eyes and the excpression on their faces. It was important to him which is why he killed when the sun was coming up and never while it was still dark.

He would still rape them for a time after death and even have 'tea parties' with various corpses. He would eventually get bored with the bodies and need another victim.

He buried several in one place because he said they liked to have company. He considered them friends, but only after they were dead. He said he liked to watch that spark leave their eyes.

Ecuador has no death penalty and the maximum sentence for murder is only 16 years.

So in 1998, with no visa to be in Ecuador any longer he was deported back to Columbia.
Whatever happened to him after that is anyones guess.

He could be dead, alive, free, incarcerated or in a mental institution. Nobody knows. There is no information to be found to this point.
