In Match 117 of the Pro Kabaddi League 2017 Season 5 of the Inter-Zone Wildcard Match, it was U Mumba that took on Tamil Thalaivas in their second encounter where the result varied from the last result. Tamil Thalaivas defeated U Mumba 38-35 in an absolute thriller to deny the Maharashtrian team a chance a chance to qualify for the play-offs.
