New Delhi: Karthik Gowda, the son of Railway minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda, was questioned for almost four hours on Saturday, by a special team regarding an accusation of cheating and rape.
Karthik Gowda's written statement has been recorded by the city police, on Saturday in connection with the case where he is accused of cheating and rape by a Kannada actress.
Karthik Gowda had appeared before the police on Friday and was questioned for almost two hours after which he was also subjected to go for medical examination at Dr B.R. Ambedkar Medical College and Hospital.
Then he again appeared before the police on Saturday and was questioned for four hours by a special investigation team led by the investigating officer (Assistant Commissioner of Police) Omkaraiah.
According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) T.R. Suresh, “the police would seek permission of the court to collect his voice samples to forensically match them with the voice on the call recordings submitted by the complainant”.
