Nawazuddin’s comedy action thriller, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, which also featured Bidita Bag, continues to shine at box office. Movie critic and Business analyst Taran Adarsh stating the box office collection of the film tweeted, ‘’#BabumoshaiBandookbaaz witnessed growth over the weekend... Fri 2.05 cr, Sat 2.41 cr, Sun 3.07 cr. Total: ₹ 7.53 cr. India biz.’’
It was said that it’s a depressing phase for the film industry after, Salman Khan’s Tubelight, Ranbir Kapoor’s Jagga Jasoos and Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Harry Met Sejal, failed to impress audience.
Nawazuddin’s film made quite a decent business on the box office and the number are still counting. Earlier while talking about his film’s business Nawazuddin tweeted, “Ppl r talking abt d budget of #BabumoshaiBandookbaaz, yes it’s a 5Cr film including P&A bt fr me it’s an art of cinema regardless of budget.”
Nawazuddin also wrote, “Happy to know that people are liking it, keep supporting and do watch the film #BabumoshaiBandookbaaz.”
Excited with the superb business of his film Baabumoshai Bandookbaaz, Nawaz tweeted, ‘’Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s film becomes his first solo HIT, earns Rs 10.12 crore.’’
Interestingly, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz was made with a total budget of Rs 5 crore.
