The deceased identified as Shivashish, who worked at a restaurant in Yusuf Sarai area, was apparently upset over his financial condition, police said.
The body was found hanging from a tree in Deer Park by a jogger around 7 AM, they said, adding that the hands of the deceased were tied up.
Shivashish was living with his brother and hesitated in asking for money from his family members. He was unhappy with his salary of Rs 6000 as he was finding it difficult to sustain in the city. He left home following an argument yesterday, police said.
Prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide, they said.
The body has been sent for post mortem examination and further investigations are on in the matter, police added.
