UP Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday slammed those who praise Pakistan saying people who are supporting them will meet the same fate as that of Ghaznavid general Ghazi Saiyyad Salar Masud. In 1033, King Suheldev was the king of Shravasti and the eldest son of King Mordhwaj and Miyan's chief antagonist in the Bahraich region. He had fought, defeated and killed the Masud Salar Masud in a famous battle held on the bank of Chittora Lake in Bahraich in 1033.

Further attacking those who favour Pakistan, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while addressing a rally in Bahraich asked them to go to Pakistan and die hungry but don't be a burden on India.

CM Yogi said that India has been providing free ration to 80 crore people while in Pakistan whose total population is 23-24 crores, people there are dying of hunger.

In another election rally in Sitapur, CM Yogi said, "It has become a fashion to abuse the Santana culture of India, to challenge the existence of Lord Ram and Lord Krishna. And about this, I will only say that 'Vinash kale viprit buddhi'..."

On RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's statement regarding reservation, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said, "...This is what the Prime Minister is saying that the parties associated with I.N.D.I.A bloc, be it Congress, RJD, Samajwadi Party, they will try to disturb the reservation of OBCs, SCs and STs and their manifesto mentions that. When the Congress-led UPA government was in power, both RJD and Samajwadi Party were its constituents. At that time, these people had formed Ranganath Mishra Committee and Sachar Committee. Ranganath Mishra Committee recommended that 6% reservation should be given to Muslims, which was strongly opposed by the Bharatiya Janata Party at that time... BR Ambedkar was against reservation on the basis of religion... People should answer them through their votes and reject them."

On SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav's remarks regarding Ram Temple, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said, "Be it Samajwadi Party or Congress, the character of both of them is anti-Hindu and anti-Ram. These are the same people who opened fire on Ram devotees and who deny the existence of Lord Ram. So to expect from them that they can respect the faith of India and respect the national heroes of India is meaningless. The statement of Ram Gopal Yadav shows the reality of the INDI bloc, Samajwadi Party and Congress. And this shows that these people are playing with the faith of India for vote bank..."
